Weddings
As a wedding photographer I specialise in the documentary/reportage coverage of your day. I shoot everything with natural available light. I do this for a number of reasons, chiefly because flash photography bleaches out any interesting subtleties in shadow and light and gives the photos a very generic look, whereas you want the mood to be unique to your day. Just as importantly, I pride myself as being as unobtrusive as possible, creating a fly-on-the-wall style record of your day. If a photographer is constantly popping up and zapping the guests with a flash he’s hardly going to blend into the background. For me, the best wedding photography is timeless, which is why I favour black and white for the majority of the images and work hard in post-processing to make the images look as close to film as possible. All this works to give you a wedding album filled with crafted images that nevertheless carry a real sense of intimacy and a mood true to the day as it unfolds.

Hello-
I’m drawn to your compositional eye. Really enjoy viewing your work.
Where are you located and do you travel for weddings? If so, can you send pricing information?
Thanks,
Haddie
